Andrea Moore supports FlashPoint’s clients by developing leaders, coaching team members, and exploring ways to improve employee performance. She has extensive experience as a workplace learning professional, and she is passionate about using her skills and knowledge to help others reach their potential. She focuses on a broad spectrum of learning and performance issues, including employee engagement, performance management, interviewing and selection, change management, career planning, and effective team relationships.
As she designs training, Andrea works with clients to clearly understand their organizational goals and identify desired outcomes; then she delivers the training in a lively, dynamic way that engages participants and promotes involvement. She approaches her coaching initiatives in a similar manner, incorporating practical and inspiring processes, challenging participants, and holding them accountable to follow through on their goals.
Andrea’s work has had a significant impact on both organizations and individuals. Managers have come away from training better prepared to lead and support their team members; employees have learned and implemented new ideas and tools to help them perform at top levels; and coaching clients have been motivated to adapt their behaviors, in an effort to make positive transformations and to exceed expectations.
As senior consulting manager at FlashPoint, Andrea applies her skills and a passion to our own team. She guides and coaches our group of consultants, ensuring that they manage projects effectively, develop and grow as talent management experts, and deliver outstanding service to our clients.
Before FlashPoint
As part of her master’s program, Andrea completed an internship at Zenith Controls in Chicago, serving as a human resource manager and overseeing all aspects of HR for the organization. She further applied her HR and workplace-learning skills at Premier Farnell, a London-based electronics distribution company; she began as an HR generalist and then transitioned into a learning and performance consultant role, managing a global team to support the development of employees and leaders. One of Andrea’s key accomplishments was the strategic implementation of Premier Farnell’s first online learning system, a global tool that supported consistent and efficient learning across the enterprise.
